Rotorstock 6 - Saturday 11th July 2009 in association with the Mazda Rotary Club
Slap-bang in the middle of summer, Rotorstock is a chilled-out yet packed day for anyone into Japanese cars (not just Mazdas). Popular with clubs, and featuring unique activities and attractions. In 2009 Rotorstock will feature a round of the Need For Speed European Drift Championship as well as a round of the HKS Drag Series (all classes) and of course the Run What Ya Brung and Show & Shine competitions.
Please note that Rotorstock 6 is a one-day event in 2009 running on the Saturday only. However, the track will be open until late in the evening, and if you don’t mind waking up to the glorious sound of retro car and bike engines, a weekend ticket with camping included is available.

| HKS Drag Series: The fastest Japanese cars in Europe converge on the Pod for a round of the HKS Drag Series. With wheelie-poppin’ RX7’s, speeds of over 170mph and 7-second quarter miles times, this is the fastest race action a Japanese car fan can witness!

| Need For Speed European Drift Championship: Rotorstock will hold a round of the Need For Speed European Drift Championship'. This will be the second time Professional Drifting has come to Santa Pod Raceway, and the first time at Rotorstock, with a huge 4th-gear course on the "pitside" of the track. |

There will be grandstands located around the course for spectators, and watching the EDC drifting is included in your Rotorstock ticket price! Details at europeandriftchampionship.eu.

Run What Ya Brung: Get your own car on the famous quarter mile, and get involved in the Run What Ya Brung competition! Featuring simple classes to find the fastest FWD, RWD and 4WD road cars in the UK. RWYB is for Japanese cars only and is £25 for unlimited runs.
Saturday includes an evening session, with the track open from 11am to 7pm.

RWYB Club Competition: All clubs booked in advance at Rotorstock will get to nominate one driver to represent them in the Club Competition. Each driver gets free sign on and a one-shot qualifier. The top 8 cars then go into eliminations to find the club champ! Info will be sent out to all clubs booking a spot at Rotorstock.

RWYB Hot Hour, 6pm-7pm?: As we head towards the end of the day, save a race voucher for the “Hot Hour”, where the top three times set in that short 60-minute slot will be awarded with CASH PRIZES and trophies donated by the Rotorstock hosts, the Mazda Rotary Club.
£100-Winner, £50-2nd, £25–3rd
Only road legal Japanese cars not taking part in demo runs or the HKS Drag Series are eligible. There are NO CLASSES for the Hot Hour, the top times take it.

| Club Displays and Camping: Huge club displays available to all Japanese car clubs, not just Mazdas! Club camping is available to all with weekend tickets. Club Stand spaces are available on a first-come, first served basis, so the first booked will get the tarmac display areas. |

| Show & Shine Competition: Rotorstock hosts a show car competition for anyone with a great-looking Japanese car. Classic, modern or modified, get parked up in the Show Car Paddock and get polishing.

We're picking the top 3 cars for trophies. The Show & Shine paddock is free to enter, just turn up on the day. Timetable coming soon. |

| Traders: There will a variety of traders at Rotorstock including specialist jap car traders, offering everything for you and your car including styling and performance parts. |

There will also be Bar & Catering facilities to suit every taste, healthy or deep-fried the choice is yours! |

| FREE camping and evening entertainment:
If you have a weekend ticket then the camping and evening entertainment on Saturday is free. |

| Mobile Dyno: The Rapid GB mobile Dyno will be at Rotorstock, allowing anyone to get a full power and torque readout and some tuning advice from the experts using some of the latest and most accurate mobile dyno kit available. |
